How to make neem powder at home
Get few neem leaves and dry them in the sun. This will take out all the moisture from the neem leaves and the leaves will become dry and crispy. Put them in the grinder and grind. That’s it, your neem powder is ready. Neem powder can also be found at different ayurvedic stores.

How to use Neem powder for skin
To treat pimples : Mix some neem powder with equal quantity Tulsi powder and make a paste using rose water. Apply the paste on the face, specially on the pimple affected areas. Let it dry and wash off. Use this pack thrice a week for best results.
To control excess oil : Neem powder can also contol excess oil of the skin. Make a paste of neem powder, lemon juice & yogurt. Apply it on the face and let it dry. Wash off. Apart from controlling excess oil, this pack also helps to prevent acne.
To get glowing complexion : Mix neem powder, rose petal powder, yogurt and some milk t make a smooth paste. Apply on the face and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash off. This will clear the complexion.
To lighten the blemishes : Make a paste using neem powder, sandalwood powder, tulsi powder and rose water. Use this face pack regularly to lighten skin pigmentation and blemishes.
To treat dry skin : Neem has moisturizing properties that can effectively cure skin dryness without making it too oily. Make a paste of neem powder and some water and add a few drops of grapeseed oil or almond oil to it. Regular usage of this face pack can restore skin’s softness and suppleness.
To treat Athlete’s foot & other fungal infections : Take a big bowl of boiling water and add one tsp of neem powder to it. Add a few drops of neem oil to the water. This liquid effectively cures athlete’s foot and other fungal infection on foot.
How to use Neem powder for hair
To treat dandruff : Make a paste of neem powder mixed with water. Add few drops of olive oil or almond oil with it. Apply the paste on the scalp to combat dandruff. If you have oily scalp, avoid adding the oil. Leave the paste on the scalp for one hour and then shampoo.
To deep condition hair : Take 2 tbsp each of neem powder, amla powder, shikakai powder and reetha powder. Add water and make a paste. This pack, when used regularly deep condition our hair and makes hair soft, smooth and gorgeous. This pack also keeps different scalp issues at bay.
To combat hair loss & treat lice : Make a thick paste of neem powder and water and massage onto the scalp. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse off with a mild herbal shampoo. This pack nourishes the scalp and promotes hair growth. This hair pack also cleanses the scalp thoroughly, and so it also can be used to treat lice.
To maintain healthy scalp and gorgeous hair : Make a pack using 2 tbsp of neem powder, honey, lemon juice, black tea, henna powder and 1 tbsp each of yogurt and coffee. This hair pack, if used regularly, can maintain healthy scalp as well as super gorgeous hair.
